ABOUT FLAMINGO
Flamingo was first floated as a platform successor to Wisernet at the March 2022 company retreat. The idea was at once both surprising and sensible: Collegewise was just over a year into its first foray as a tech-forward company, but it became apparent that Wisernet would require maintenance beyond any anticipated scope and cost.
In early 2023, a small group of Wisers began deliberating the platform's structure, function, design, interface, and name with the development team at Crimson. Over the course of the year following, Flamingo made her way onto the web, representing a collaborative effort from across many teams within the company. On Monday, April 22nd, 2024, Flamingo launched for private use within the company.
